JustBit at a Glance

JustBit launched in 2021 as a crypto casino under Casbit Group N.V., a Curaçao-registered operator that, and we'll get to this in a minute, was declared bankrupt by the Court of Curaçao on December 5, 2024. The platform is still online, still taking deposits, and still marketed as a 3,000+-game crypto casino with a €750 + 75 FS welcome package. Whether the entity actually running it today has a verifiable license is the most important question in this review, and the answer isn't great.

Is listed as JustBit's operator. The same entity also ran lala.bet and JungliWin. In April 2024, the Dutch gambling regulator (Kansspelautoriteit, or KSA) issued a penalty order against Casbit Group N.V. For offering unlicensed gambling services in the Netherlands, €280,000 per week, capped at €840,000.

The KSA press release is public record, not a forum rumor.

Eight months later, on December 5, 2024, the Court of Curaçao declared Casbit Group N.V. Bankrupt. The bankruptcy filing documented player debts of at least €619,500, including one individual claimant owed over €237,000 (per LCB.org and World Casino Directory reporting on the court ruling). The KSA fines are widely cited as a contributing factor to the financial collapse.

The casino is still online.

Casino.guru's research the current operating entity as SkyGrow Group Limitada, registered in Costa Rica. Costa Rica doesn't issue iGaming licenses, companies register there but receive no gambling regulatory oversight. Casino.guru classifies JustBit under SkyGrow as operating without a license. The mechanics of the transfer from Casbit to SkyGrow, asset sale, licensing handoff, informal continuation, are not documented in primary sources I could verify.

Take that with a grain of salt, we know what's public, and not much else.

Here's what that practically means for a depositor: there is no licensing authority to file a complaint with, no mandatory dispute resolution process, no player fund segregation requirement, no regulatory backstop if the operator decides not to pay. Let's actually run the numbers.

Bitcoin withdrawals depend on confirmation timing, typically 10-30 minutes for 3 confirmations on the network side.

Editor's Take

Don't get me wrong, the JustBit product is functional. The game library is large enough, the cashback structure is competitive, the crypto rails work for small withdrawals. If the operator situation were stable, this would be a credible mid-tier crypto casino.

The operator situation is not stable. The KSA enforcement action and the Curaçao bankruptcy are matters of public record.

The current operating entity is unlicensed by any meaningful definition. The complaint record reflects exactly the pattern you'd expect from an unregulated operator, fast deposits, fast small withdrawals, friction on large ones, account closure as a balance-management tool.

If you're going to use JustBit anyway, and I get it, sometimes a specific bonus or game library pulls you in, keep balances small, withdraw winnings frequently, complete KYC up front, and don't deposit anything you'd be upset to lose access to overnight. Treat it as a session site, not a banking layer.

For most players, BC.Game, Stake, and Cloudbet do everything JustBit does, with verifiable licenses, longer track records, and complaint resolution patterns that don't include "account closed during withdrawal review."

The Reality Check

The only way for a casino to make money is if you lose. That's true at Stake.
