Master blackjack basics and learn the optimal strategy to minimize the house edge.
The goal is to beat the dealer by getting a hand total closer to 21 without going over (busting). Number cards are worth their face value, face cards are 10, and Aces are 1 or 11.
Set your bet size and click Deal. You receive two face-up cards, while the dealer gets one face-up and one face-down (hole card).
Choose to Hit (take another card), Stand (keep your hand), Double Down (double your bet for one more card), or Split (if you have a pair). Basic strategy charts tell you the optimal move for every situation.
Once you stand, the dealer reveals their hole card and plays according to fixed rules (usually hitting on 16 or less, standing on 17 or more). If the dealer busts or has a lower total, you win.
Standard wins pay 1:1, while a natural blackjack (Ace + 10-value card) pays 3:2. Review your play decisions against basic strategy to improve over time.
